| Dr Duncan Curley is a solicitor and the founder of Innovate Legal. He obtained his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry at University College, London in 1992, before qualifying as a solicitor in 1995. He was formerly a partner in the intellectual property department of a major U.S. law firm. Duncan represents clients across the full range of intellectual property rights including patents, trade marks, designs, copyright and trade secrets. |

| Fred Pearson is a patent and trade mark attorney. He has worked in the field of intellectual property for over 40 years, the majority of that time in industry. Fred was Head of Intellectual Property at ICI. He has extensive experience of all aspects of corporate intellectual property practice, including intellectual property management and strategy development. Fred recently consulted for an international law firm on patent filing and pan-European patent litigation strategies. |

| Shamnad Basheer is the founder of SpicyIP, a blog dedicated to IP news and cases from India. He is a consultant to Innovate Legal. He graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and joined New Delhi IP law firm, Anand and Anand. He then entered academia, taking up invited posts at the Institute of Intellectual Property in Tokyo, Japan and more recently as Frank H Marks Visiting Associate Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the George Washington University Law School in the USA. |
