In addition to our client focused work, we take an active role in the development of intellectual property policy in the UK and Europe. Duncan Curley has contributed to the public debate on the intellectual property / anti-trust interface (via the policy think tank, the Stockholm Network) and he has written a Report for the Intellectual Property Institute on Supplementary Protection Certificates. Recently, we ran a workshop entitled "Patent issue in the development of biosimilar medicines" as part of SMI's "Generics, Supergenerics and Patent Strategies" Conference in London on 14 May 2008.
